Cousins!

I had the pleasure of photographing these 4 cousins this afternoon. They were all super subjects. The 3 year old started off with a bang, then decided it was more fun to act his age. What 3 year old wouldn't want to run around and have some fun? The rest of them were awesome! Is this the fall?

I was a bit worried about having this photo shoot on the beach in late October, but our crazy warm weather made it possible. This beautiful family drove me out onto the beach for the perfect location. The little man was a perfect ham and played around with the sand for nearly two hours without getting fussy. My Little Dorothy

I snapped a quick few photos of my own daughter in her Halloween costume before running out the door for a photo shoot yesterday afternoon. I was so pleased, I thought I'd share.

Family

I was invited to come photograph a large family yesterday. They all looked fabulous! Here is a picture of 7 of the 27 that were there.

A Good Friend

My good friend was supposed to come this afternoon so I could get some great pictures of her SO VERY PHOTOGENIC children. Well, that was a good plan, until she started to come. Her little girl started to feel, not so well. Poor thing cried the entire time I was taking pictures of her brother. I was able to get photos of this cutie. I'll have to catch his little sister and mom another time. They all looked so good dressed up, too. I hope she is feeling better soon.

Pumpkin Patch!!!

This family had a wonderful home, complete with a pumpkin patch nearby. Taking photos in the pumpkin patch was a dream come true. Baby blues and a fun kindergartener...

Little A and her baby brother were the perfect photography subjects this evening. They offered up plenty of smiles and made things fun. Here are a couple of pictures from the session.

Full of love...

I spent the afternoon with this wonderful family. They are so full of love, I could see it throughout the session. Mom and dad are so tender with the newest addition, a precious little girl, and are so much fun with their older daughter. I am glad I had this opportunity. Travelers from afar...

I had the pleasure of photographing this family tonight. Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt and Uncle flew in this week from Washington state. Little 'O' who turned 3 recently was a perfect model. I wish all families got along this well and were so much fun to photograph.

Another baby girl

This precious girl is a friend's fourth baby. She is sweet and very adaptable. She shares her house with her two brothers and a sister who are all 3 and younger. Her mom has her hands full, but seems to love it all. I was thrilled to be able to take this little one's photos this morning. She was bright eyed and content for most of the 2 hours I took pictures. Isn't she a doll?

Risk Takers

We were attacked... by mosquitoes. This family was willing to risk the possibility of west nile, malaria and other illnesses to humor me. I think it was totally worth it. I was even graced with a smile from a 2 year old, do you realize how hard that is to get? Look at how great they look!

Fresh Little Beauty

Baby "C" was the sweetest little thing. She is only 10 days old and slept nearly the entire 2.5 hours I was photographing her. I could move her into positions, change blankets and such without waking her up. She is clearly loved by her 3 sisters and a great addition to this family.\

To the ends of the earth

Well, maybe not that far, but pretty close. This great family lived right near the Chesapeake Bay. What a wonderful opportunity for me. Little "L" was as cute as could be and more than willing to jump right in the water. Too bad it was REALLY muddy with the low tide. Enjoy this sneak peek. *click on any picture to see it larger

A Rare Occurance

Thanks to an evening out with my girlfriends, I was looking presentable enough for a picture of myself. I asked my husband to take a few. My daughter was nearby, so I grabbed her (yes, we do brush her hair on occasion) and posed for a few quick photos.

My Best Friend

Snips and snails and puppy dog tails...

that's what these little boys are made of. Two of the sweetest blue eyed little boys were the subject of my camera earlier today. "R" was happy finding crickets and turtles, enjoying nature and exploring everything. Little "W", not so much. He started off with a smile, but had a rough morning. I'm sure the lady following him around with a camera in his face didn't help at all. I caught some great pictures of these two. I'll share two of my favorites.

Blue eyed cutie...

This little brown eyed cutie was such a pleasure to photograph. He did most of what I asked and was really a happy boy. Two year olds aren't always so easy. He smiled and had a great time with sticks and stones. **Click on the picture to see it larger.

I did manage to coax a few smiles from this strawberry blonde tough boy. He kept me entertained with his talk of rock music and girlfriends.

94 Degrees and Still Happy

What a great little boy! He was such a trooper willing to look for the puppy dog in the field of weeds and look at the silly lady with the camera even in the 94 degree heat and crazy humidity.

Energy, energy, energy!

Baby blues to die for and gorgeous blonde hair, all wrapped up in a bundle of energy. Not quite two years old yet, this little boy was willing to do almost anything for a tiny piece of candy. Great friends

A pair of great friends and their little ones. Both children did great. Trying to get a 0ne year old and nine month old to do anything isn't easy, but they were great troopers.
